In the early morning, sunlight filtered through the sparse clouds, casting its glow on the ancient city walls of Suzhou, adding warmth and vitality to this millennium-old city. The New Mai team gathered at the starting point of the ancient city wall, with excited smiles on everyone’s faces. At the sound of the host’s command, they strapped on their energy packs and eagerly set off on their hiking journey.

This 15-kilometer hiking event was not only a challenge for the body but also a deep exploration of the ancient city’s culture. Along the way, members walked along the winding path by the ancient city river, appreciating the grandeur of the city walls and experiencing the deep historical significance of the millennia-old city. They chatted as they walked, stopping frequently to take photos and capture unforgettable moments. With the autumn breeze blowing, everyone’s face glowed with joy and satisfaction.

To add some fun and interactivity to the event, the New Mai team set up a checkpoint activity. Members had to take photos at designated buildings and upload them to the event group to prove their “visit.” This element not only sparked enthusiasm but also made the entire hiking process more dynamic and enjoyable.

After 3 hours of hiking, the team successfully completed the entire circuit around the ancient city river. As they stood at the finish line and looked back at the historic city walls, they were filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
