Technology Adds to the Charm! Yang Peiqiang, Chairman of Niumag Analytical, Named a 2018 “Charm of Science & Technology Figure” in Suzhou High-Tech Zone

The Suzhou International Elite Entrepreneurship Week – High-Tech Zone Session was successfully held in mid-July 2018 at the Suzhou International Expo Center.

During the “Charming Science & Technology Figures” award ceremony at the High-Tech Zone Session, Mr. Yang Peiqiang, Chairman of Niumag Analytical, was honored as one of Suzhou High-Tech Zone’s 3rd “Charming Tech Figures.”

This recognition aims to highlight exemplary innovators and role models across society — encouraging independent innovation and acknowledging the key role of entrepreneurship in advancing the national development strategy, “Dual Highs and Dual News” (High-Level Talents & Technologies, New Models & Practices). For the broader scientific community, the “Charming Tech Figures” award sends a strong message: innovation and originality are the driving force behind sustainable growth.

15 Years of Niumag

 

In 2003, Mr. Yang Peiqiang founded Shanghai Niumag Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. As operations expanded, Suzhou Niumag Analytical Instrument Co., Ltd. was officially established in 2009 at Suzhou Science & Technology Town. For the past 15 years, Niumag has been deeply committed to advancing low-field NMR technology — continuously developing new products and innovations, while contributing significantly to the growth of the domestic low-field NMR market.

In recent years, Niumag has launched several subsidiaries — including Tainiu Testing, Tainiu Education, and NewTitan Measurement & Control — focused on third-party testing, science education, and core component manufacturing. All of these strategic moves share one mission: to fuel the long-term growth and impact of Niumag.

In 2013, Niumag was selected to lead a National Major Scientific Instrument Project titled “Development and Application of High-Performance NMR Relaxometry Analyzer.” In 2016, the company was approved to be listed on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ, “New Third Board”). That same year, it was named one of the “Most Promising Analytical Instrument Enterprises of 2015.” In 2017, Niumag’s postdoctoral program was upgraded to a national-level station, and Mr. Yang was selected under the Ministry of Science and Technology’s Innovation Talent Promotion Program.
