As the golden rooster dances away the old year and the lucky dog steps through the snow to welcome the new year, Suzhou Newmai Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Newmai”) held its 2017-2018 Annual Meeting on February 2, 2018, in the famous ceramic capital of Yixing, by the West Lake. The event was attended by a full house of guests and employees, all gathered together to celebrate the achievements of 2017, discuss strategies for the company’s development in 2018 with a focus on “targeting goals and efficient execution,” summarize experiences, affirm achievements, clarify tasks, unify thoughts, and renew enthusiasm. Through the recognition of outstanding employees, the event inspired motivation, boosted morale, and promoted the spirit of “specialization, excellence, sensitivity, and persistence” at Newmai. Looking ahead, Newmai aims for continued development and success in 2018, with its sails set high to navigate the vast ocean!

Looking back on 2017, Newmai made remarkable achievements despite challenges. The office space was expanded and revamped, the service team was strengthened, and the goals set at the beginning of the year were largely met. Under the leadership of the core management team, all employees worked together, embodying the company’s spirit of “specialization, excellence, sensitivity, and persistence.” Continuous progress was made in product quality, technological research and development, market expansion, and customer service. In 2018, Newmai will continue to forge ahead, aiming to achieve its goals with high efficiency and unwavering determination.

Over the past year, numerous outstanding individuals and teams have emerged, quietly excelling in their respective roles and achieving extraordinary results through hard work and intelligence. To honor them, Newmai held a grand awards ceremony, presenting several awards, including “Newmai Star,” “Newmai Rising Star,” “Research Star,” “TOP SALES,” “Sales Star,” “Sales Rising Star,” “Diligence Star,” “Collaboration Star,” “Production Star,” “Suggestion Star,” “Excellent Team,” and the “Five, Eight, and Ten Years Long Service Award,” as well as the “General Manager Special Contribution Award,” recognizing these outstanding employees and teams for their stellar contributions in 2017.

Notably, employees who had been with Newmai for three, five, eight, and ten years were also honored, expressing gratitude for their loyalty and support over the years.

The grand dragon dance kicked off the cultural performances at the annual meeting. The dance, songs, poetry recitations, and saxophone performances were all splendid and impressive. The lucky draw was interspersed throughout the performances, adding excitement and anticipation, culminating in a thrilling climax. Throughout the evening, everyone wore smiles of joy and happiness, blending together in laughter and cheer, creating a beautiful melody that only the Newmai family could understand, filled with emotion, warmth, passion, and strength!

Speech by General Manager Yang

 

General Manager Yang Peiqiang’s New Year’s speech. He thanked all employees for their hard work throughout the year and encouraged everyone at Newmai to face the new year’s opportunities and challenges with a calm, confident mindset.

General Manager Yang poured champagne into the champagne tower, and the Newmai executive team made a toast, wishing all Newmai employees, old and new friends, and all sectors of society a happy New Year and a prosperous Year of the Dog!

The performances from each department were carefully prepared and full of creativity, offering a feast for the eyes and ears. The song “Paddling Together to Sail the Big Ship” was powerful and captured the passion and energy of the sales team; the dance “Cool and Elegant” showcased the youthful spirit of the finance department; the poetry recital “I Am Proud, I Am a Niumager” succinctly and forcefully described Newmai’s remarkable 15-year journey, with heartfelt emotions expressing the perseverance and dedication of Newmai people. Many Newmai employees were moved to tears. The dance “Kung Fu Yoga” was both humorous and energetic, drawing cheers from the crowd; the cross-talk “Those Mishaps Between Straight Guys” and the dance “Good Boy” were innovative and fun, embodying the unique emotions and style of the 90s and 95s generation…

Ms. Yan Jun, General Manager of Suzhou Tainiu and Head of the Postdoctoral Workstation, performed a saxophone solo that was both powerful and elegant, leaving the audience in awe. The lucky draw and “shake red envelope” activities throughout the evening kept the energy high, with cheers and applause blending together, and everyone enjoying the moment!
