Professor Zhang Tiejun from Masdar Institute of the UAE Visits Suzhou Niumag

On the morning of September 3rd, Zhang Tiejun, a professor in Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Masdar Institute, United Arab Emirates, and a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), who had just returned to China, visited Suzhou NiuMai Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd. Mr. Yang Peiqiang, the General Manager of NiuMai, warmly welcomed Professor Zhang, accompanied by Professor Yan Jun, Director of the Postdoctoral Workstation at NiuMai, and colleagues from the Overseas Business Department.
NiuMai’s technical engineers introduced the development history of NiuMai and the cutting-edge applications of NiuMai’s low-field NMR products in the petroleum energy sector. Professor Zhang highly recognized NiuMai’s technological research and development, production, sales, and services, and acknowledged NiuMai’s achievements in the petroleum energy industry.

Later, Mr. Yang Peiqiang, the General Manager of NiuMai, accompanied Professor Zhang on a tour of NiuMai’s office area and laboratory, focusing on introducing NiuMai’s corporate culture to Professor Zhang.

Professor Zhang praised NiuMai’s corporate spirit and expressed the hope to use this visit as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between both sides, engage in mutual communication, and foster shared development.

Professor Zhang is the recipient of the UAE National Research Foundation’s University-Industry Research Collaboration Award, and is a principal investigator for six international and national research projects, including those in energy and micro-nano technology. Before joining Masdar Institute, he was responsible for the U.S. Navy’s MURI project and served as the co-chair of the 4th Arab-American Scientific, Engineering, and Medical Conference.
In May of this year, NiuMai engineers completed the installation of the first large-scale equipment overseas—high-temperature, high-pressure low-field NMR online displacement equipment at Masdar Institute, marking a significant step forward for NiuMai NMR instruments in the petroleum energy field. NiuMai will continue to strengthen technological research and cooperation to increase the market share of domestic equipment in overseas markets.
