Training Announcement

The inaugural 2024 training programme received widespread acclaim from both instructors and participants, thanks to its outstanding curriculum and hands-on sessions. Attendees reported significant progress in product knowledge, practical skills, and application methods. Building on the success and lessons learned from the first programme, we are delighted to announce the launch of the second training session this year.

This training programme offers a rich and diverse curriculum, covering key sectors including energy (oil, coal, etc.), geotechnical engineering, materials, and food and agriculture. The course ensures participants gain comprehensive exposure to nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology. We adopt a blended teaching approach, combining theoretical lectures with practical hands-on sessions, to ensure every participant can translate theoretical knowledge into practical competence. Additionally, the programme will conclude with a discussion segment to deepen understanding and application of the technology.

Training Content

NMR Principles: Basic principles, relaxation principles, and imaging principles

Basic Hardware Overview: Device components, self-check methods, and maintenance procedures

Application Methods: Application techniques and case studies in energy/geotechnical, food and agriculture, and materials sectors

General Software Use: NMR analysis software, Niumag NMR imaging software, Niumag NMR image processing software, and Niumag data analysis software

Specialised Software Use: Core analysis software, cross-link density measurement software, oil and water content measurement software, and others

Hands-On Practice: NMR instrument operation and high-temperature/high-pressure displacement device usage

Class Size

The programme accommodates 30 participants in total, divided into 5 classes of 6 participants each. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Class allocation: 2 Energy classes, 1 Geotechnical class, 1 Materials class, 1 Food & Agriculture class.

Training Fees

Fee: 1000 RMB per participant (includes lunch). Transportation, accommodation, and other expenses during the training are to be arranged by participants.
