From 22nd to 24th September 2024, the highly anticipated 2024 Annual Conference of the Glass Fibre Branch of the Chinese Society for Silicate Materials and the 44th Annual Meeting of the National Glass Fibre Professional Information Network were grandly held in Nanjing. The event, themed “Sixty Years Together, Striving Forward Towards a New Journey,” attracted nearly 600 experts and representatives across the fibre and composite materials industry. Attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge inorganic fibre and composite materials technologies, digital transformation, intelligent manufacturing, application development, green low-carbon initiatives, and testing and evaluation.

In her presentation, Ms. Liu recommended two products: the Composite Resin Content Analyzer PQ001-GU and the Automated Online Glass Fibre Oil Content Measurement System – Glass Fibre Analyzer PQ001-Gla. Both instruments can quickly and non-destructively measure glass fibre oil content, replacing traditional manual or muffle furnace methods, significantly improving testing efficiency and data reproducibility. She also introduced Niumag’s latest detection technologies for glass fibre oil content, carbon fibre sizing, resin content in glass fibre composites, resin content in carbon fibre prepregs, and resin content in carbon fibre composites, alongside automated solutions. These innovations showcase Niumag’s latest LF-NMR applications and their role in enhancing quality control throughout glass fibre, carbon fibre, and composite production.

The Composite Resin Content Analyzer integrates T1 and T2 relaxation time testing with magnetic resonance imaging. Combined with an online sample temperature control module and FLAT technology for capturing short-relaxation weak signals, it offers versatile solutions for non-destructive, rapid analysis of solutions, gels, solids, and particles. It is particularly suitable for process monitoring, production optimisation, formulation research, and ageing or curing evaluations in online experimental studies.

 
 
 

This world-first high-throughput automated system integrates sample pre-treatment and testing processes, ensuring operational safety, stability, and reliability. It significantly improves testing efficiency, reduces labour costs, and lowers carbon emissions.

The system rapidly and accurately measures and analyses a variety of chemical and physical properties in polymer industries. It supports samples in multiple forms, including powders, granules, solutions, and gels, offering a comprehensive workflow control solution.
