The meeting was chaired by Professor Yan Jun, Director of the Newmai Postdoctoral Station, who has extensive experience in petroleum energy, porous media, and NMR applications. At the start of the meeting, Professor Yan briefly introduced the attending scholars and postdoctoral researchers, followed by a detailed overview of the Newmai Postdoctoral Station, its development, and the key research projects conducted by the postdoctoral fellows.

Chairman Yang Peiqiang of Suzhou Newmai Analysis, the host organisation of the postdoctoral station, delivered a keynote address, highlighting how the integration of governmental, industrial, academic, research, and application resources has enabled the station to cultivate a high-quality professional talent pool. He emphasised that the postdoctoral researchers are expected to achieve outstanding scientific results, contributing to both academia and industry breakthroughs.

Liu Gang, senior talent management officer of Suzhou High-tech Zone, expressed full recognition of the station’s achievements in recent years. He noted that the high-tech zone has consistently prioritised the development of postdoctoral stations as an essential regional development task.

The meeting then proceeded to a focused session where the two postdoctoral researchers presented their project proposals, responded to expert questions, and received detailed evaluations.

The first presentation was delivered by Dr. Zhan Yue, a graduate of Toulouse III University, France, on the topic “Development of Low-Field NMR Applications in Pharmaceutical Powder Materials”. The expert panel asked questions regarding technical aspects, feasibility, implementation strategy, and practical value. Dr. Zhan provided detailed answers. The panel concluded that Dr. Zhan has strong research and innovation capabilities, a clear and logical research plan, and that the project holds high academic and practical potential. The project was unanimously approved.
