Determination of Oil Content in Viscose Fiber — Low-Field NMR Method

1. Objective

 

Rapid detection of oil content in viscose fibers.

2. Materials

 

Oil-free fiber sample #1, pure viscose oil agent, test sample #2.

Suzhou Niumag PQ001 NMR Fiber Oil Content Analyzer

4. Sample Preparation

 

Weigh the test sample using an analytical balance and compress it into the sample tube.

Weigh oil-free fiber and blend with pure viscose oil agent to prepare calibration samples.

5. Analysis & Results

 

5.1 Testing Procedure

(1) Calibration: Acquire NMR signal values and create the calibration curve.

(2) Measurement: Acquire NMR signal from the unknown sample and calculate its oil content using the calibration curve.

5.2 Testing Considerations

(1) Ensure the height of the test sample matches the calibration sample as closely as possible.

(2) Keep the temperature of both the test and calibration samples consistent.

(3) Use an instrument with a short dead time to enhance accuracy.
