To further promote low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology, foster communication and collaboration among experts and scholars in the field, and enhance the overall level of low-field NMR research, the NMR Instrumentation Expert Committee of the Analytical Instrument Sub-Society of the China Instrument and Control Society has announced that the 13th National Symposium on Low-Field NMR Technology and Applications will be held from October 12 to October 13, 2025, at the International Conference Center of China University of Geosciences (Beijing).

On July 17, the highly anticipated 3rd Forum on Functional Foods and Health with Homology of Medicine and Food was successfully held. The 13th National Seminar on Low-Field Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Technology and Applications will continue to focus on theories, methods, and technologies in low-field NMR time-domain, magnetic resonance imaging, and other NMR-related fields, as well as their applications in energy and geotechnical engineering, life sciences, food and agriculture, and polymer materials.The conference plans to invite renowned domestic scholars and NMR experts to deliver keynote lectures. The NMR Instrument Expert Group of the Analytical Instrument Branch of the Chinese Society for Instrumentation warmly welcomes colleagues from relevant fields to actively participate.

At this seminar, engineers from Suzhou Newma provided in-depth explanations of low-field NMR technology in the field of material testing. Their presentations highlighted innovative applications, particularly in analyzing the proportion of soft (amorphous) and hard (crystalline) segments, crosslink density, binder content, and particle dispersion. These insights offered researchers new perspectives and technical approaches for their work.
