The Beauty & Health 30 Forum Successfully Held in Shanghai | Newman Analytical Deputy General Manager Liu Hanyi Invited to Deliver Keynote Report!

On April 20, the “Technology for Beauty, Brilliance for Silver Hair” Beauty & Wellness Industry Forum of 30 was successfully held at the Putuo Campus of East China Normal University. The event was hosted by East China Normal University, guided by the Shanghai Cultural and Creative Industry Promotion Association, and organised by the Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation Practice Base of the Beauty and Wellness Industry Ecosystem at Shanghai International College of Chief Technology Officers.

More than 30 experts from academia and industry in the beauty and wellness sector gathered to share pioneering research on emerging productivity and silver-haired technology development. They explored trending topics, exchanged in-depth insights, and jointly empowered the rise of strong brands within China’s beauty and wellness industry.

Ms. Liu Hanyi, Deputy General Manager of Niumag Analytical, was invited to attend the forum and delivered a keynote speech entitled “Applications of Low-Field NMR Analytical Technology in the Beauty and Wellness Industry.”

Ms. Liu introduced low-field NMR as a rapid, non-destructive, precise, and reliable sub-microscopic detection technology, suitable for analysing hydrogen-containing mixtures in both liquid and solid states. She emphasised its importance for the analysis of cosmetic raw materials and formulations, as well as for new product development and high-quality manufacturing. She also highlighted typical application scenarios such as differentiating lipid-based raw materials, analysing molecular dynamics in formulations, and performing trace oil content detection.
