Conference Information

As a powerful, non-destructive structural analysis method, magnetic resonance is increasingly used across chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, materials, food, and geoscience. As application needs deepen, new NMR technologies and instruments continue to evolve, injecting fresh momentum into both research and industry. Low-field NMR (LF-NMR), using hydrogen protons as probes, is highly sensitive to pore-filling fluids and is widely adopted for porous-media studies in diverse scenarios, providing a rapid, non-destructive, and precise strategy for pore-structure characterization. Meanwhile, LF-NMR–based in vivo small-animal body composition analysis offers an effective approach for life sciences and biopharma R&D.

To promote the healthy, rapid growth of China’s scientific-instrument industry and to build an effective exchange platform connecting policymakers, industry, academia, research, end users, capital, and media, the 17th Annual Conference of China Scientific Instruments (ACCSI 2024) will take place in Suzhou from April 17–19, 2024. Centered on the theme “Breaking Barriers, Reigniting Growth,” ACCSI 2024 is hosted by Instrument.com.cn, with co-organizers including the Analytical Instruments Division of the China Instrument and Control Society, Nanjing Institute of Product Quality Inspection, Woyaoce.cn, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Alliance for High-End Optical Microscopy Imaging Technology. During the ACCSI 2024 annual meeting, the Organizing Committee will co-host the Low-Field NMR Technology Development & Applications Forum with Suzhou Niumag Analytical Instrument Co., Ltd. and the NMR Instrument Expert Group of the Analytical Instruments Division. Experts will dive into the latest LF-NMR technologies and advances in energy & geotechnics, materials science, life sciences, and food & agriculture—helping accelerate technology adoption and application progress.
