Deep Integration of Industry, Academia, and Research — Joint Advancement Through Scientific and Technological Innovation — Establishment of the Jiangsu Provincial Graduate Workstation, Enterprise Postdoctoral Research Workstation, and Nanjing University Energy Research Institute NMR Joint Laboratory at Suzhou Niumag Analytical Instrument Co., Ltd.

In early 2016, with official approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Suzhou Newmai Analytical Instruments Co., Ltd. established both a provincial enterprise postgraduate research station and a postdoctoral research station. At the same time, the Nanjing University Energy Research Institute and Suzhou Newmai jointly founded a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Collaborative Laboratory. On January 22, 2016, Suzhou Newmai held the official unveiling ceremony at the Suzhou Zhonghua Garden Hotel, attended by professors and scholars from numerous universities and research institutes across China.

By integrating academia, industry, and research, technological innovation advances in unison. Newmai’s growth relies on strong research support. The NMR Collaborative Laboratory at Nanjing University’s Energy Research Institute represents another strategic cooperation platform in the oil sector, following the precedent set by Shanghai University. This collaboration between academia and industry encourages resource sharing, diversified teaching models, and exploration of new NMR applications. Nanjing University’s Energy Research Institute ranks among the nation’s leading centres for energy research and development, particularly excelling in nanoscale, microscale, and unconventional energy technologies. At the unveiling ceremony, Director Hu stated, “Current scientific research must focus on the development and application of advanced, high-precision instruments. The progress of research requires the support of sophisticated scientific equipment. A research-oriented enterprise must maintain first-class standards, robust platforms, and an upward trajectory. Newmai embodies all of these qualities, making it the ideal partner for this collaboration. I am confident in our joint efforts.”
