A Successful Conclusion | 2021-2022 Asia-Pacific Meat Technology Conference and the 19th China Meat Technology Conference

From July 13-15, 2022, the 2021-2022 Asia-Pacific Meat Technology Conference and the 19th China Meat Technology Conference were grandly held at the Jin Niu Hotel in Chengdu, Sichuan. Experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs from both domestic and international meat industries gathered together to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and developments facing the meat industry in the Asia-Pacific region under the theme “Technological Innovation and Development in the Asia-Pacific Meat Industry” over the course of three days.

This conference provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange to further strengthen the mutual communication between China’s meat industry and international meat food peers, promote the progress and development of meat science and technology in the Asia-Pacific region, and improve the level of meat processing and quality control technologies.

 

The conference was held both online and offline, featuring expert reports, keynote speeches, specialized reports, a Young Scientist Forum, an Entrepreneur Forum, and a Graduate Forum. The sharing and exchange of various reports played a positive role in promoting the integration of meat science research achievements with industry, gathering global scientific and industrial resources, and establishing academic exchange platforms.
