On July 23, Deputy Director of Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau Liao Ximing, Deputy Director of the Science and Innovation Bureau of the High-tech Zone Sun Yixin, Director of the Analysis and Testing Center of Soochow University Yao Zhigang, and other representatives visited Newmai for a research and guidance session. Newmai’s Chairman Yang Peiqiang and General Manager Li Xianghong accompanied the delegation during the visit.

During the visit, Deputy Director Liao Ximing and the delegation first visited Newmai’s cultural exhibition hall to learn about the company’s 20-year development history and current status. They then toured Newmai’s pilot production line, machining area, reliability laboratory, and customer experience center, accompanied by Chairman Yang Peiqiang. Chairman Yang Peiqiang gave a detailed introduction to Newmai’s low-field nuclear magnetic resonance products, its latest research and development achievements, and the advanced R&D production equipment. Deputy Director Liao Ximing highly praised Newmai’s R&D innovation capabilities and its achievements in market development.




At the subsequent meeting, Chairman Yang Peiqiang of Newmai warmly welcomed the leaders from Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau and introduced the company’s R&D team, business sectors, products, and future development plans. He elaborated on how Newmai will transition from manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing, aiming for automation, intelligence, and industrialization. Chairman Yang emphasized that Newmai’s growth is essentially a continuous process of R&D investment. He expressed the hope that the construction of a demonstration center for domestic scientific instrument applications could lead to deeper cooperation between the university and the company.
Deputy Director Liao Ximing of Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau expressed deep concern about the challenges and needs encountered by Newmai during the product development process. He has always been attentive to the development of the scientific instrument industry and hopes to provide a centralized platform to showcase and recommend the current status and achievements of domestic scientific instruments. Through government guidance and support, the aim is to promote cooperation between universities, research institutes, and enterprises, creating a collaborative innovation force to jointly advance the R&D and application demonstration of domestic scientific instruments. The construction of a domestic scientific instrument application demonstration center will accelerate the industry’s development and focus on supporting the growth of scientific instrument companies. The goal is to verify the performance and reliability of domestic instruments through real-world applications and promote continuous iteration and increased market competitiveness.
