Successful Conclusion | Niumag Invited to Attend ECF2022 – 12th Asia-Pacific Shale Oil & Gas and Unconventional Energy Summit

The 12th Asia-Pacific Shale Oil & Gas and Unconventional Energy Summit of the China Innovation & ECF International Shale Gas Forum 2022 officially opened on October 19, 2021, at the Science Hall of the Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. This year’s summit focused on “Shaping the Future of Energy and Thriving in a Low-Carbon Economy”, aiming to explore how shale oil, shale gas, and other unconventional energy resources can achieve high-quality development through technological, managerial, and institutional innovations—more efficiently, at lower costs—while ensuring national energy security and adapting to a future low-carbon world.

Nearly 250 companies and over 1,000 participants attended the summit both online and offline, including representatives from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, South Korea, and Russia. Major domestic shale oil and gas companies, oilfield service providers, equipment manufacturers, and financial institutions also participated.

Niumai Analysis was invited to the summit to showcase solutions for conventional and unconventional oil & gas applications. At the booth, the large-bore NMR imaging system model vividly demonstrated the capabilities of Niumai products, attracting many attendees to stop and observe.

Professor Yan Jun, Director of Niumai’s National Postdoctoral Workstation, delivered a presentation on the application of one- and two-dimensional NMR techniques in shale oil exploration.

Attendees were captivated by the innovative applications of low-field NMR technology in the energy sector and engaged in in-depth discussions with Professor Yan Jun.
