In the lush, flower-filled month of May, Wuhan is bursting with life. On 10 May 2018, Nuohai’s inaugural “Science Roadshow Across China” made a beautiful debut at the Food Science Building of Wuhan Polytechnic University, marking a vibrant encounter with this picturesque season.
More than 30 participants—including Associate Dean Professor Wang Xuedong, Director Pan Congdao, Professor Chen Jiwang, Lecturer Chen Xuan, along with faculty members, PhD students, and postgraduates—attended this event. A key highlight was the tailored presentation of novel low-field NMR application solutions and real-world case studies, matched to attendees’ research interests. To provide hands-on experience and deeper understanding, Nuohai brought a compact portable NMR instrument for live demonstration. This dual approach—presentation plus instrument demo—sparked fresh ideas and inspired research innovation through real-time interaction, Q&A, and experimentation.
At the opening of the session, Professor Wang Xuedong, Associate Dean of the School of Food Science at Wuhan Polytechnic University, delivered the welcome address.
Following the opening, Nuohai’s product experts presented insights into low-field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR) applications in food science and agricultural products, showcasing custom-developed cases relevant to attendees’ research topics.
The new technologies presented by Nuohai generated enthusiastic responses from attending faculty. Engaged discussions throughout the session highlighted strong interest in the latest LF-NMR innovations.
Nuohai’s specialist also performed hands-on demonstrations using the compact NMR device on-site, showcasing imaging and relaxation analysis techniques. Participants—including professors and students—eagerly brought their own samples to test, gaining real-time operational experience.
Thus concluded the Wuhan leg of Nuohai’s first “Science Roadshow Across China”, held successfully at Wuhan Polytechnic University!
The next stop is tentatively scheduled for late May in Northwest China. Preparations are actively underway—stay tuned for further announcements!
